Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Il Castgano. The local area really surprised us in terms of plenty to see and do. There is is a splendid restaurant right on the the doorstop but a car is very necessary for everything else.

A very varied holiday including trips to the beach, walking in the mountains, cycling around Lucca and visiting spa baths. Nice family cottage.

The cottage was really cosy and the beds very comfortable. We did lots of sightseeing - Pisa, Florence, Pistoia etc and really liked Lucca as it was so family friendly. Would love to come back and do some mountain biking in the region.
